I guess we were wrong..
Quite a few new
news stories regarding
Project Dolphin. We weren't expecting
anything any time soon so this is kind of a
surprise to us. Oh well! We're not
complaining.
NEC will
manufacture graphics chip.
NEC (The makers of Dreamcasts'
PowerVR chip) apparently will also make
the Dolphin's graphics chip. The chip,
designed by SGI offshoot ArtX, is said to
have up to 16mb's of memory, and a clock
speed of 200mhz.
More when it comes in.
Rumors are false.
The widespread rumor that Nintendo
was only going to allow a select few
developers design software for Dolphin
apparently was a mistranslation.
Whew! We were beginning to think
Nintendo wanted to completely ruin itself.
